You Were Never Meant to Carry Motherhood Alone
Pregnancy, birth, feeding, and postpartum can bring some of life’s most meaningful—and most demanding—changes.
You may be preparing for birth while trying to understand your choices. You may want a steady presence beside you during labor. You may be experiencing discomfort in your pregnant or postpartum body, working through breastfeeding challenges, or simply wishing someone would slow down, listen, and help you understand what comes next.
At Mothering Meadows, I provide practical, compassionate support that honors both the real needs of family life and the deeper transformation taking place within you.
You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Support Fields
Care for the Mother Becoming
Every family needs something different. My work brings together birth preparation, emotional support, informed decision-making, body awareness, practical postpartum care, and breastfeeding guidance.
These are the primary ways I support mothers and growing families locally in Walton County and remotely beyond our area.
🤍 The Birth Field - Birth Doula and Postpartum Support
Personalized doula support can help you feel more informed, prepared, and held throughout pregnancy and birth.
Local birth doula care may include prenatal visits, birth-preference preparation, emotional and nervous-system support, partner guidance, continuous labor support, comfort measures, advocacy for your stated wishes, and postpartum integration.
I support families preparing for hospital births, home births, physiological births, VBACs, and births following a difficult or disappointing previous experience.
My role is not to make decisions for you. It is to help you understand your options, remain connected to your voice, and feel supported as you make the choices that are right for your family.
Serving Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, DeFuniak Springs, 30A, and surrounding Walton County communities.
🤱 The Feeding Field - Breastfeeding Support
Breastfeeding can be natural without always feeling easy.
I offer informed, compassionate breastfeeding support for mothers who are preparing to nurse, establishing feeding after birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or working through common challenges.
Support may include prenatal breastfeeding preparation, positioning and latch guidance, feeding confidence, pumping and returning-to-work preparation, emotional encouragement, and help identifying when additional clinical lactation or medical care may be needed.
My goal is to help you feel heard, informed, and supported in your own feeding goals—not pressured toward someone else’s version of success.
Local and virtual breastfeeding support are available.
👐🏽 The Body Field - Prenatal & Postpartum Bodywork
Pregnancy and postpartum affect the whole body.
My wellness-based bodywork sessions are designed to encourage relaxation, ease patterns of tension, support mobility, and help you reconnect with your body during seasons of significant physical and emotional change.
Sessions may incorporate therapeutic touch, assisted stretching, gentle movement, breath awareness, body-based relaxation, and nervous-system support. Each session is responsive to your comfort and what your body needs that day.
This work may be supportive when you are experiencing pregnancy-related tension, general physical discomfort, postpartum depletion, overstimulation, stress, or a need for quiet and restorative care.
I previously practiced as a licensed massage therapist for ten years. My current sessions are offered as non-clinical, wellness-based bodywork rather than licensed massage therapy.
Available locally by appointment in Walton County and nearby surrounding areas when possible.
Support That Honors the Whole Mother
Grounded in Knowledge, Lived Experience and Reverence
Maternal care should make room for more than appointments, measurements, and checklists.
It should make room for your questions.
Your instincts.
Your fears.
Your partner.
Your body.
Your previous experiences.
Your hopes for this birth and postpartum season.
My approach weaves together practical education, emotional presence, physiological birth awareness, somatic and nervous-system support, breastfeeding knowledge, bodywork experience, and respect for your personal values.
There is space here for families who want straightforward, practical guidance and for mothers who also experience birth and motherhood as a sacred threshold.
You do not have to choose between grounded support and meaningful care.
a little about me…
Mother, Doula and Breastfeeding Support Professional
Mothering Meadows grew from two places: years of supporting others professionally, and the profound transformation of becoming a mother myself.
I'm a holistic birth doula, breastfeeding peer counselor, former Florida licensed massage therapist, and creator of The Women's Wheel. For over a decade, I supported people through therapeutic bodywork, learning how deeply the body, nervous system, and emotional experience are woven together. Today, that foundation continues to shape the way I care for mothers through pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum.
My approach is grounded in both evidence-informed education and reverence for the natural wisdom of the body. I believe mothers deserve clear information, compassionate support, and the freedom to make decisions that align with their own values and circumstances. Whether your birth unfolds in a hospital, birth center, or at home, my role is never to tell you what to choose—it's to help you feel informed, supported, and deeply seen as you navigate the journey into motherhood.
Outside of my work, our family is learning to embrace slower rhythms, nourishing food, time outdoors, breastfeeding, and creating a home that values connection over perfection. Living these values has transformed not only the way I parent, but the way I support other families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Whether you're preparing for your first birth, navigating life with a newborn, working through breastfeeding challenges, or simply longing for steadier support, my hope is that Mothering Meadows feels like a place where you can exhale, feel genuinely cared for, and know you don't have to walk this season alone.
